We have used the services of C.E.T. Painting and Carlos Tacuri for the past 10 years. He has done many projects in and around our home including: installing a hardwood floor, constructing a desk unit, building custom cubbies in our garage and finally painting the exterior and interior of our home. We have always found his work to be of excellent quality. He has always finished projects on time and has always cleaned up extremely well during the project. He has always charged a very reasonable amount for his work. We have been comfortable having him and his employees in our house even when we are not home. In short, he has been honest, hard working and does excellent work. I highly recommend him.

Carlos was truly a diamond in the rough. I recently completed a complete restoration of a 5,000 sq ft home in Pound Ridge, NY. Carlos and crew were contracted to repair and restore the exterior cedar shingle siding and interior of the home – inclusive of all trim work. The exterior damaged cedar was replaced, rotten trim was replaced, cedar was cleaned (from grey mildew to beautiful tan), and trim painted and cedar sealed. Mahogany front doors, garage doors and rear porch were also restored and sealed. Interior walls were repaired, trim was repaired and replaced, and every inch was painted multiple times. The house looks like new.”

I hired C.E.T. Painting to paint the outside of my home, a project that included the repair and painting of damaged trim, refinishing the cedar shingle siding, and staining several handrails. The quote was reasonable and clearly itemized, and work began on the date specified. The work crew was polite and careful, taking extra effort to protect outdoor plants, furniture, and patio areas from damage or spills. The quality of their work was very professional, with excellent attention to detail. Tools and materials were cleaned up and stacked away neatly at the end of each work day. Needless to say, I was quite pleased with the whole experience. I would highly recommend CET to any of my friends and neighbors, and will definitely hire them for any painting projects that I have in the future.

Very good pricing, professional, conscientious – shows up when they say they will – and honest – really did whatever he could to ensure I was happy with the job – I started out looking for only a very small job to be done (stripping a couple of radiators) but upon receiving a hard-to-beat estimate and seeing how well Carlos of C.E.T. Painting and his crew worked, I ended up taking the opportunity to get the big tasks that I have been putting off done – I had them scape and paint the whole exterior of the house and redo my daughter’s room including refinishing the wood floors (pleasantly surprised to learn that C.E.T. Painting does that too!). All in all feel very lucky to have found them!

I own a white stucco house that was peeling at a very aggressive rate. Everyday more and more paint would crack off of my house. Carlos and crew gave me a competitive price and the confidence that they would be able to scrape and sand off all of the loose paint, not a small job. We contacted C.E.T. Painting, they arrived within the next few days to scope the job and provide an estimate. My husband and I were amazed that they were able to complete 7 rooms (5 major rooms and 2 bathrooms) in 2 days. We had CET paint our entire downstairs as well as master bedroom. The rooms contain both chair rails and dental crown molding, and we selected various paints for different rooms and walls. Carlos was very knowledgeable about the best materials to use and his attention to detail was superb. The result is truly beautiful. Carlos Tacuri and C.E.T. Painting are both first rate. We received several estimates for the painting of the exterior of our home and deck as well as replacing a rotted deck board and painting our stoop railings and 16 outdoor planters. We were very pleased with C.E.T. painting and Carlos Tacuri who painted our entire interior. This was a two week job involving cathedral ceilings and a number of bookshelves. They were timely, neat (new carpeting had been installed), and did an excellent job with a fair price. Carlos and the team at C.E.T. Painting have worked on several projects for us over the last four years and we have always been delighted with their work. This year we moved to an old house needing a considerable renovation. Carlos and the team removed lead paint from all of the windows and sanded the frames restoring the original wood throughout the house. A painstaking job which was completed in good time yielding spectacular results. The team then renovated our living room, stripping the walls back to the studs, re-insulating and installing new drywall. Phase two of the transformation was the careful execution of a tray ceiling which afforded an extra three feet of height. The final phase of the restoration was to completely redesign the basement and laundry. The team built units to house the washing machine and dryer, retiled the floors and installed new stairs and wainscoting. We are absolutely thrilled with the results – We now have a beautiful home thanks to the team from C.E.T. Painting. Carlos and his crew are highly skilled, creative, polite, tidy, friendly and professional. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and family and we will be using C.E.T. Painting when we start the exterior work on the house in the new year.
